Tiffany PRATER
Your Voice for House District 12 — Putting People and Communities First
The Foundation of Our District's Future
Tiffany Prater is committed to delivering actionable solutions that address the specific needs of Oklahoma House District 12.
Empowering Local Education
Education reform must start with protecting rural schools. That means strengthening teacher support, stabilizing funding, and ensuring public dollars stay in public classrooms. As your state representative, Tiffany will fight for all Oklahoma students and repeal the voucher program that is weakening rural districts.
According to the Oklahoma Policy Institute, "In school year 2024-25, the program distributed $248.5 million in credits to 39,229 students, of whom just 4,071 (10.4 percent) were previously enrolled in public schools. Of the 39,229 students benefiting from the credit, nearly three-quarters (72 percent) had household incomes of $75,000 or higher. The homeschool was credit was claimed by 2,376 households in the amount of $3.3M." Oklahoma is robbing rural schools to give tax credits to the wealthy.
Healthcare
Rural healthcare demands real investment and smart policy—supporting local hospitals, offering incentives for providers to serve rural communities, and improving emergency response times. When rural hospitals and clinics close, families pay the price. Protecting access to care in District 12 is not optional—lives depend on it.”

According to the American Hospital Association, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (HR 1) would lead to a reduction of $50.4 billion in federal Medicaid spending on rural hospitals over ten years. Oklahoma’s rural hospitals would experience a $2.4 billion reduction.

Rural Infrastructure
Rural infrastructure is critical to the future of Oklahoma communities. When elected, Tiffany will work to improve roads and bridges, modernize water and utility systems, and expand reliable broadband so rural families, schools, and businesses can stay connected and grow.
